Independence of the Seas or Independence of the Sea

What is it officially, Independence of the Seas or Independence of the Sea? Well considering all the Royal Caribbean ships are named of the seas, such as Oasis of the Seas, then officially it is Independence of the Seas and not Independence of the Sea.

In the UK people tend to call it, as previously stated, Independance of the Seas, this is because we cant spell Independence right. Some even call it Independance of the Sea. This again is wrong!
