The Oasis of the Seas is Royal Caribbean Cruises newest and most innovative vessel yet. Full of different areas to create a truly unique feel to your journey.

There are 7 different districts on board; Central park is a public space designed to have the feel and look of the real central park. Then there is The Boardwalk which is family orientated and The Royal Promenade. This ship is 16 decks tall and is a sight to behold.

Royal Caribbean Develop Falmouth

Royal Caribbean is working alongside the Jamaican Port Authority in a bid to develop the Falmouth cruise port in Jamaica so that Oasis of the Seas can visit the port when she starts her Western Caribbean cruises in May 2010.

This is not the first time that Royal Caribbean have worked with a port authority, they did so with Southampton where they spent £10m to upgrade their terminal to accommodate Independence of the Seas.

Oasis of the Seas will have 7 distinct neighbourhoods when she joins Royal Caribbean in the autumn of 2009. The Oasis of the Seas neighbourhoods includes the Boardwalk, Central Park, Royal Promenade and its mezzanine level and Loft Staterooms.

Well with 5,400 passengers you need somewhere to put them.

Oasis of the Seas For Sale

On Wednesday 3rd September 2008 <strong>Oasis of the Seas</strong> goes on sale to the general public. The time of the event is 1pm UK time or 8am EST which give a distinct advantage to UK based customers over potential clients from the west coast of America. There are 37 categories of accommodation on the ship and prices for a 7 night cruise start from £1,299. Royal Caribbean has stated they are not offering the usual £100 per person launch discount for this cruise. Oasis of the Seas will start her first cruise in December 2009 from Fort Lauderdale.  

Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas Itinerary Announced

Royal Caribbean has today announced what you will expect to enjoy onboard Oasis of the Seas. Royal Caribbean has announced that there will be seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries on offer onboard Oasis of the Seas. To start her 2009 season Oasis of the Seas will begin with 19 consecutive seven-night sailings to the Eastern Caribbean. Then in May 2010 she will alternate her Eastern Caribbean itinerary with Western Caribbean itinerary offering the best of the Caribbean in a mixture of itineraries.   “Royal Caribbean is fortunate to have taken millions of satisfied guests over 40 years to these highly regarded destinations,” said Adam Goldstein, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International. “We thank the government of Haiti, Port Authority of Jamaica, State Government of Quintana Roo, Island of Cozumel, SSA Mexico, Ministry of Public Works and Port Authority of the Bahamas, Virgin Islands Port Authority, West Indian Company, and Port of St. Maarten for their support and cooperation in working with us to provide such compelling itineraries for our guests.”
